Quality of shirt and printing seems good. Appreciate slimmer fit shirt. Wore it while going through TSA. Agent asked to pat down my shoulders then complimented me on them. Guess it works. 😆

I bought this shirt at an outdoor market. I loved their message.. stronger, you are not alone. Whatever you’re going through you can do it. It really resonated with me, because i was going through a lot at the time of purchase. Just trying to push through and force myself through a brutal depression. A single mom working 2 jobs. Just fighting back the urge to cry, but also trying to stay present for my son. I didn’t want to be in public, but he didn’t deserve to stay inside…

I saw their sign from the distance and immediately wanted to cry… The owner was super sweet and kind. I bought the green “stronger” tee - it was so soft, amazing quality, color, and fit.

She personalized a thank you card with my name on it, and the thank you card had the most inspirational messaging that I didn’t know I needed to hear… I pinned it on my dry erase board.

The next day, I wore the teeshirt all day. It felt comforting. I felt encouraged… I felt a little stronger.

That night, my boyfriend broke up with me - I was devastated. But for some reason, during our face to face convo - I looked down at my shirt. And it made me pick my chin up and gather the strength I needed to stay present and finish this convo. When he left, I cried for days (and honestly still do). But there were times where I passed by that thank you card, and felt less alone. It’s really the little things…

I am doing l better now.. I’m taking it a day at a time. But I’d be lying if I said Respite Apparel wasn’t an integral part of my healing journey.

To the owner - what you’re doing here is magical. And you’re creating an environment that helps people like me feel less alone. And for that, I thank you. Please keep doing what you’re doing, we need people like you in this world.
