In 2022, my life collapsed under the weight of complex trauma. I had to quit my job, move back home, and sit with a level of pain and uncertainty I didn't know how to carry.
The hardest part wasn't the trauma itself—it was feeling completely alone in it. Like nobody could see me, and I didn't have the strength to keep going.
A turning point came when I attended a trauma-healing therapy intensive that helped me begin to find my footing again. And somewhere in that process, I started turning my pain into something tangible—designs rooted in strength, resilience, and the quiet reminder that healing is possible.
Two things became clear to me during that season: I wanted to empower others on their own healing journeys, and I wanted to help anyone seeking deep psychological healing have access to the resources they need.
Respite Apparel was born from both of those things. Every tee, sticker, and accessory is a wearable reminder that you have what it takes to carry on. And every purchase helps fund access to healing resources for those who need them most.
Like it was true for me, it is also true for you: You don't have to heal alone.
Healing together. Stronger within.
